Almidan has three major festivals:
Ehdeniyat came out from our environment and heritage, respected our tradition and ambitions, and created a space of joy and happiness in this social and economic daily stress. Ehdeniyat is a way for the youth to express themselves and show their capacities.
It is an annual summer festival, held in the years 2004 and 2005, and 2008 – 2009, in Ehden, Zgharta caza - North of Lebanon. It was cancelled in 2006 and 2007 for security reasons.
Ehdeniyat is organized in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture, the Ministry of Tourism and particular NGOs.
Cinemaiyat is a long-term program that aims at supporting the Lebanese Film Industry, and encouraging the young talented directors.
Several students from the different universities of Lebanon participate in Cinemaiyat where the Golden Apple Award is distributed to the best short movie. Also, symbolic awards are distributed t the students of the Lebanese University in order to encourage them producing within the absence of financial support, is they have to auto-finance their own movies.

Christmas by the Lake for It is the winter festival of Almidan, in which stands the tallest Christmas tree in Lebanon: 30 meters tall, 14 meters in diameter decorated with 800 stars, 100 thousands Christmas bulbs and lighting net of 200 meters. Crowing the tree is a 3 meter tall star with a thousand bulbs. During the festival, games, parades and plays for children take place.
